Is it OK to wash tupperware with bleach to remove stains?

I have heard that the bleach will soak into the tupperware that can come out into foodIs it OK to wash tupperware with bleach to remove stains?
Yes it's fine. Let them soak in a sink of water plus 1 cup of bleach for about an hour. Wash and rinse as usual. All the harmful chemicals in the bleach will evaporate with the water. Is it OK to wash tupperware with bleach to remove stains?
My mother washes everything in bleach. As long as you rinse it really good, then run it through the dishwasher, it is probably fine.

A tip to prevent staining: Spray the tupperware with pan spray before putting food in it.
yes,its ok to use it as long as you rinse it really good afterwards!i have done it for years!
no it's OK just rinse it good
i doubt it, but if you're really worried there is a product from cascade that's supposed to clean stains off of plastic.
no not with bleach, can leech into food. but try cream of tartar, about 2 tbsp works to take red out of dishwasher and cutting boards, I add it to bottom of dishwasher when I know we are having spaghetti whitens things right up. I would add it to my dish water and let tupperware soak.
To get the stains out try baking soda. In the future a tip to help prevent stains in Tupperware..... before you put something like tomato sauce in a Tupperware container rinse it with cold water and shake before putting in the food.
