How to remove detergent/washing powder that stained my shirt?

I used Ariel washing powder to wash a shirt, and one of the little blue particles stained my shirt. How to remove it??How to remove detergent/washing powder that stained my shirt?
The stain will probably wash out after a few washings.

Try adding Oxiclean to your washes.

Also, if the shirt can tolerate hot water, use the Hot water setting to wash it.How to remove detergent/washing powder that stained my shirt?
Pretreat it with this lovely product called folex. Cleans everything from carpets to clothes. They sell it at lowes for $2.50ish? Pretty cheap and does wonders.
Hey Ariel dose not leave any stain on cloth. May be it is something else stain.

Try dry clean for that.

You really did answer your own question. Protease breaks down protein molecules into amino acids.Explain how proteases in washing powders help to remove protein stains such as blood or egg from clothes.?
You've answered your own question. Egg and blood are primarily proteins, so naturally, proteases would break them down...

Can you still get a pizza sauce stain out of a white shirt after washing it in a cold wash, but not drying it?

Spray and WashCan you still get a pizza sauce stain out of a white shirt after washing it in a cold wash, but not drying it?
Most likely. Apply shampoo (I use the cheapest I can find, usually Suave) or dishwashing detergent (like Dawn, not dishwasher detergent) to the area, hold for several hours, rewash. You may need some peroxygen or perborate bleach (like Clorox 2 or Snowy or Oxyclean) if it doesn't all come out in the second wash.

The orangey stain from tomato products is a mixture of carotenoids, pigments that are not water soluble, but dissolve quite nicely in non-polar substances like fats, or with a good detergent. Can you still get a pizza sauce stain out of a white shirt after washing it in a cold wash, but not drying it?
Kay is spot on! She forgot to say that behind the tomato and its pigment is the grease from the pizza. That is what is holding some of the stain in. Dishwashing liquid or shampoo may do it but, if not, and BEFORE bleaching, try some 409 or any household grease cutter. Let it sit on the stain and work it in then rewash and continue with Kay's advice.
Hi..i would try hand cleaner like the mechanics use. It is cheap and can be bought at Walmart or Canadian tire. Rub it on, let sit for a half hour, then wash as usual. I use it for all kinds of stains. i washed a quilted baby blanket with grease on it (from my sewing machine) using a pre soak spray. it did not come out so i got out my hand cleaner, put it on and washed it after a half hour and it was spotless when it was done.
You'll need to ';Shout , Shout get it all out. these are the stains we've been telling you about'; LOL (from the song) try treating it with shout, then washing it again and repeating the process until the stain is out. Do not dry until the stain is out.
So long as it hasn't been dried, you can try again - once it's dry, it's ';set for life';..
you need to put clorox on it to remove the stain, and then put it in a wash cycle.
yah, tomatoes are evil that way, and white clothing is flirting with disaster

How much is it to have your Deck Power Washed and Stained?

Deck is 10 by 20How much is it to have your Deck Power Washed and Stained?
The price you pay will vary depending on variables such as where you live, how big the deck is and other items. If I were you I would contact a few contractors or handymen in your area.

I would suggest that the cost to clean the deck will be in the range of .40-.55 cents and the cost for staining will likely be in the .75-.85 cent range. The cost of the stain you select will likely affect the cost. Make sure the wood is good and dry before the staining. Around $1.00 a s.f

Can anyone (!!!!!!!) let me know how to get rid of grease stains from clothes that have been washed?

I have tried Vanish etc but the grease spots (from cooking) is still in the material!! HELPCan anyone (!!!!!!!) let me know how to get rid of grease stains from clothes that have been washed?
It will be difficult especially when it has been dried.

    Try this:

    Get Grease Lightning

    and spray on spots.

Let it soak for several minutes and then rub with Dawn dishwashing liquid and hot water.

Let it soak again, and then rinse.

Air dry/line dry, (do not put in the dryer) and see if it is gone.

You may need to do this several times until it comes out.

Grease Lightning has gotten many of our stains out even when it has been dried in.

:-)Can anyone (!!!!!!!) let me know how to get rid of grease stains from clothes that have been washed?
I don't think anyone has suggested this yet, go get some greaseproof paper, lay it on the stain then iron over it with a hot iron, it should soak up any residue grease. Then apply some stain remover before placing in the washing machine and wash as normal.

    Good Luck x
Warm water on the spot, baking soda sprinkled thereon, and an old toothbrush (or fabric against fabric scrubbing motion).

    warm water+baking soda+grease=soap :-)

Baking soda sprinkled on a warm wet cloth or sponge also cleans the greasy stove top like magic.

Rinse with cold water+white vinegar to release soap residue from first wash.

    In Joy!
Hi! Rub dish soap into the stain, then rewash. May have to be done 2 or 3 times. I do this all the time and it always works for me. Good luck! p.s. dishsoap cuts grease.
it might be too late now, but fairy liquid put direct on to the stain asap after the spill and then washed quickly is a good remedy - but now it has dried maybe not! probably not much help really.
Well soak them for 20 minutes and let them sit in the sink with very hot water and color safe bleach.
if you can get OxyClean, try soaking them overnight with that.

How do I get chewing gum out of a nylon dry-weave shirt? Not a new stain... I washed it a couple of times.?

My hubby recently washed a shirt and forgot to remove the gum in his pocket. This is a Nike dry weave shirt and the gum is ground in. Any advise? How do I get chewing gum out of a nylon dry-weave shirt? Not a new stain... I washed it a couple of times.?
Get hold of some WD40 and spray liberally on the chewing gum. Make sure you do this while the garment is on a non porous surface that won't be damaged.

Spray enough on until the fabric is visibly ';wet';. Leave it for a few minutes and the gum will scrub off with a dry cloth. Remove as much as you can and then repeat.

The WD40 shouldn't leave a stain but it may smell slightly. This can be removed by washing.

It might be advisable to test on a hidden area in case it damages the fabric. This should not happen as I have used this on a wool/polyester dinner jacket with no problems. How do I get chewing gum out of a nylon dry-weave shirt? Not a new stain... I washed it a couple of times.?
put the shirt in the freezer overnight and then take it out, gently sratch the gum off with your fingernail.
