My growing toddler gets almost everything stained! I have a 50/50 shot at being able to get it out when i head to the washing machine. Is there anything that i can treat some of her clothes, that already have the stain washed in, with? What takes out washed in baby stains?
I take care of 3 grandkids and always have a tub of oxyclean by the washer. I put their clothes in, fill the tub, add 2 scoops of oxyclean and let them soak for about 10 minutes then add the detergent and wash. My daughter in law can't figure out how their clothes look so good now and how I managed to get the stains out that have been there for months. I also use Spray and Wash for the really bad stains before putting them in to soak.

When I wash my white laundry it seems like they always end up with stains they never had to begin with! Help?!
I agree with the liquid fabric softener and the hard water answers. But instead of paying for a water softener add a cup of Boraz to your laundry it softens the water and helps boost the detergent cleaning action I use it and it really works we have alot of minerals in our water. When I wash my white laundry it seems like they always end up with stains they never had to begin with! Help?!
It sounds to me like you have ';hard water';. The stains you are seeing are caused by iron in your water.
There are a couple of ways to address this. If you are not the homeowner just purchase laundry additives for removing these stains. They can be purchased at your local grocery store in the laundry aisle.
If you are the homeowner, you may want to invest in the purchase of a ';water softener'; product. You can find dealers for them in your yellow pages. I am not positive, but Lowes and Home Depot may sell the systems too. When I wash my white laundry it seems like they always end up with stains they never had to begin with! Help?!
If they're 'yellowy' stains then they could be from hard water. You can try adding a bit of bleach to the wash, but if it's really hard water that may not be enough. You may need to look into a water softener.
I know this sounds crazy, but have you cleaned your washer?? Sometimes, grease builds up inside, especially if you have a man that works on cars, etc. My reasy clothes did that to the washer once - I had to degrease the machine!
I don't know what you're implying, but I didn't do anything to your laundry. So, stop accusing me of molesting things already!
always be cautious when washing white.if you r washing white laundry wash it alone.try using a good bleach.that would help.
Always put a cup of bleach and do it in hot water.
You may have hard water, and those are rust or sediment stains from the water. And adding bleach to hard water just compounds the problem. For best results, have your water tested. If it is hard water, you will want to install a water softener.
MAYBE GET A NEW WASHER OR DRYER OR BY NEW FABRIC CLEANER
My mom had this terrible problam , but she now washes white at a higher temp , and she uses bleach ... if it doesnt work maybe ur washer has somethin wrong goin on ..
if it is your own washing machine, i would run an empty load with a couple of cups of bleach in it and hot water. if it is at the laundy mat, use bleach every time.
I heard that if you add liquid fabric softner it makes your whites not look as white, but I dont know if thats what it could be or not
buy a new washer and dryer..
That happens to me, a lot of times its from the fabric softener (if youre using the liquid form). Make sure to dilute the fabric softener with water when you pour it in, and use bleach with your whites.
instead of clorox use 1/4 cup of pinesol for a medium load, yes pinesol !!!! it sounds weired but it works.

I need to get old semen stains out of the sheets that dont wash right out. Vinegar doesnt work. Any ideas?
use chlorox or hydrochloric acid to wash away the semen stains on your sheets but next time, don't ejaculate on your sheets. use tissue or toilet paper. better yet, ejaculate on someone's mouth, face, body, bum, etc. cheers!I need to get old semen stains out of the sheets that dont wash right out. Vinegar doesnt work. Any ideas?
';Pretreat'; the spot with baking soda and detergent; also use a phosphate additive/laundry booster to the wash cycle so that the detergent works better. Also use bleach (if they're white) and don't fill the washer full.
Otherwise throw them away. Sheets aren't that expensive (try Target).I need to get old semen stains out of the sheets that dont wash right out. Vinegar doesnt work. Any ideas?
just throw them away and buy new sheets
tons of lemon juice and water.
Try Oxyclean or a product called De-Solve. I got it at Wal-mart and used it to get motor oil out of a white carpet.
In the future stop over crowding the washing machine. Cleaning the
-.clothes is more dependant on getting the water through the material than it is on the soap. You can actually get clothes clean with just plain water. If the machine is crowded the clothes can not move around and get clean.
Once washed the sheets are sterile and clean. The stains may remain as evidence but that is no big deal. Boys produce semen and it comes out in wet dreams, sex, or masturbation. Sometimes we just do not catch it right.
buy new sheets...........
try car petrol....it remove stubborn stains!

How do I remove chalk stains (washed down from poorly sealed siding) from brick?
Powerwash or if you don't have 1 and don't want to rent 1 - go to Home Depot (or like) and get this screw on attachment for your hose that shoots out a stream of water at a high pressure, usually loose in a bin (it's not packaged) but it works great... usually near where the sprinklers are located...How do I remove chalk stains (washed down from poorly sealed siding) from brick?
if it's just chalk then this should wash off easily with water and a good nylon scrubbing brush.viruses

On our bed sheets have these weird yellow dark brown stains! I can't wash them out they aren,t pee!!! Help?!?
After washing the sheets, I have noticed that there are these weird yellowish brownish stains. There is no way it is pee, I am guessing it might be sweat! Does anyone have any ideas on how to wash them out? or what they can be??On our bed sheets have these weird yellow dark brown stains! I can't wash them out they aren,t pee!!! Help?!?
It sounds like body soil. If bleach doesn't get it out I doubt it's going to come out. From now on you will just have to wash your sheets more often to keep the soil from building up to such a degree. On our bed sheets have these weird yellow dark brown stains! Is it only the sheets? If these spots show on clothes too, it may be rust from the washer. Check the laundry soap aisle to find a product to run through an empty wash load to clear the rust out of the basin.
I get those on our pillows from drooling. If the stains are close to the head area where you sleep than that`s what it is, if not I do not know. Try using Resolve.
It is more than likely sweat. Try to pretreat with some vinegar and use some oxyclean in the wash.

How do i wash a wool rug and get juice stains out?
Where ever there are kids there will be juice stains on rugs.
This is my tried and true method, I've never had any problems with it... however, you may want to test on a less noticable spot of the rug in case of any color fast issues.
Place one dish towel under the rug where the stain is.
Sprinkle the stain with baking soda. Sprinkle regular white vinegar on top of the baking soda and let it foam. After it foams, scrub with another towel to blot. If necessary, repeat process.
Even with three day old cranberry juice I normally don't have to do this more than three times. And my rugs turn out so clean looking. How do i wash a wool rug and get juice stains out?
If it's WOOL, DON'T WASH IT. Water is not kind to wool fibers (think of anyone who had a favorite wool sweater that got washed in the laundry by mistake).
Excessive exposure to water will ruin your carpet (i.e. - putting it in a washing machine). Be careful to use a cleaner that has as neutral a pH balance as possible, and spot clean, if you can.
Best bet, go to a local professional dry cleaner and ask them for advice (especially where cleaning products are concerned). They might be able to point you in the right direction. How do i wash a wool rug and get juice stains out?
Pretreat the stain with some extra detergent, wash on cold/delicates cycle as your normally would and, DON'T put it in the dryer.

What is an easy way to get pit stains washed out of white shirts?
I've never been sure why, but I sweat easily, and a lot. I figured I could use bleach to get out pit stains on white shirts, but I'm worried about messing up the designs on the shirt. Anyone know any other way? What is an easy way to get pit stains washed out of white shirts?
I use ';Spray %26amp; Wash';. It always gets out all the stains we manage to get on our shirts. What is an easy way to get pit stains washed out of white shirts?
Rub a potato on dirt stains on clothing and let it sit overnight. Launder the garment in the morning.
or
Spray a light coat of WD-40 on a stain and let it sit a few minutes before washing
You could try a tide bleach pen, or you could try a mixture of baking soda and water. just mix the soda and water till it becomes a paste then put it on the stain and let it for a few minutes and wash as normal.
Spray the area with either Spray and Wash or Shout Stain remover. Scrub it in then let them set for a while then wash. Either one of these will get the stains out. Good Luck!!!
Try ';Vanish'; - great on all stains
